Around town

We recently found out that we can rent (really inexpensively) motor bikes. So, we did just that and took some time to explore the area around campus.

Spring is in the Air

This week has been filled with evening rain showers and blooming flowers reminding us of the beauty and majesty of the Creator.

How Do Eggs Dye?

Every now and then, we get to share some of our culture that is fun for the students and helps us to explain more of who we are. After we played Frisbee, we invited the students over to dye some eggs. Coloring these eggs was a simple, yet effective way to do just that. The students loved it and I have to say, we had a pretty good time as well. Afterwards, we watched a movie and explained more about the original meaning of the upcoming celebration.

Ultimate Frisbee

Since we are not pros at the two popular sports, basketball and ping-pong, we have decided to cultivate friendships using something we know. We are teaching some students how to play ultimate frisbee. It has been a great way to develop friendships and the students seem to really be enjoying it.

Playing Around

Luke has had several opportunities to play some games with his new students. One of their favorite being ping-pong.

Coming Home

We are so glad for the opportunity to have spent some time in the states it was relaxing and refreshing. We had many wonderful visits.
